While we wait for lowland snow in Washington, I thought I'd share a couple of pictures my daughter took over the week-end near her home in Hawaii Kai, Oahu.

Credit her with the pictures, but not the actual constructions.  Someone built them and left the beach!

TODAY IN CLASS
There was a hand-out with two kinds of work on Grendel.  If you were absent today, you must do all of the questions on each of the chapters 10-12.  Since that will all be homework vs. having some time in class, that's all the make-up work you have to do.

HOMEWORK
For everyone who was present today (practically everyone--hooray!):
1) Finish the questions that you didn't complete in class.  That work will be collected first thing on Wednesday.  (Linked below)
2) Find more examples for your group's chart.  How many?  Well, how far had you gotten?  There will be only 10-12 minutes more tomorrow, so find some, write them down on scratch paper, and be ready to complete the charts ASAP tomorrow.

Thursday--Grendel test
