Late, but at least it's here . . .

TODAY IN CLASS
A short unannounced but pretty easy quiz over Acts I and II.  Then students read "the nunnery scene" in pairs, and we ran out of time before we could really finish the insights into motivation, reaction, etc., that you figured out as a result.   We'll pick that up briefly tomorrow, esp. in 6th.  The key problem for critics is how much of this scene is Hamlet's deliberate decision to "put an antic disposition on" vs. behavior that really goes beyond his controlled, deliberate intentions.  And if the latter, why?

FOR TOMORROW
You were already supposed to have read Scene ii, and done part of the Scene ii questions.  By tomorrow, finish this scene in its entirety.

FOR WEDNESDAY
You need to read to the end of Act III.
