TODAY IN CLASS
Students got started on questions that covered both last night's reading (up to line 290 on p. 127 of your gray book). After providing two examples of "beast fables" in works you might know (novels, movies, children's stories, etc.), you should have gotten partway through question 6 in class. You needed to stop there to continue reading. . .which some of you did in class . . .but no one had time to finish the tale. So,
HOMEWORK
Finish reading "The Nun's Priest's Tale" (ends on p. 137). Then finish the questions on today's hand-out. For now, skip #11. We will come back to that one after I show you the Host's actual words--they aren't in your text!
