Jonathan Swift

If you were gone today, read the intro to the "Restoration" in your gray book as well as the intro to Jonathan Swift.  This would be pages 410-413 for the historical intro and pp. 512-513. 

If you were HERE today, you should still mark these pages down, because you won't be able to study the black book at a future time.

HOMEWORK: 
Read the hand-out I gave you in class today.  (I'll try to link it later--have to leave for a meeting now.  The hand-out is NOT the section in the gray book . . . that will be for later.)  If you are seeing this before 6:00 p.m., please check back after 7 or so.  I should have the link posted.  You DO need to read it ,because there will be a reading check quiz.
