TODAY IN CLASS
Homework papers on "The Rocking-Horse Winner" were collected. In 4th, we got partway through the story discussion; in 6th we finished, but it was a light going-over. I may have you add a thought or two tomorrow!
HOMEWORK
Be working on the draft of your 500-650 word essay. Remember, this CANNOT be one of the short pieces or a collection of paragraph answers. Unless you have cleared a specific other topic with me, stick to the Common App or UW questions given to you on the hand-out. Yes, this hand-out was attached to Thursday's blog last week.
You must have the completed hard copy of the draft with you in class on Thursday to receive process points.
Double-space; include a word count.
Forgot to mention the early start time in class. For senior parents, who are used to the usual later time, the 6:30 start could be a surprise.
