TODAY IN CLASS
We almost finished "A & P." Tomorrow we will have a very important five minutes or so in which we wrap up the significance of this story, connect it to another one, nail down another example of an epiphany, and put this story into a familiar category according to its structure and theme. Stay tuned. . .
FOR TOMORROW
The major activity is the peer response to the second draft of the personal essay, for which you must have a typed, double-spaced copy of your draft in class with you. Also be sure to bring your stamped first draft and the gray peer-response sheet. You will be handing those in along with the second draft and response sheet.
Also--TONIGHT is the expiration of the turnitin.com folders for the Self-Definition and the FIRST draft of the personal essay. Those should definitely be online by now.
You technically have until 11:59 Wednesday night to submit the SECOND draft, but there's no reason to wait. Print the paper, save it on your computer as the second draft, and submit that draft to the Second Draft folder on turnitin.com
LOOKING AHEAD
There was a hand-out today giving info about the unit test next Tuesday (Oct. 6). Be sure to pick one up if you were absent today.
