1) Peer Response to the FIRST DRAFT of the personal essay. Please do not lose either the stamped copy of your paper or the gray peer-response sheet. Both will be turned in next Wednesday along with the revised 2nd draft and its peer review sheet.
People who were absent or for any reason did not have their paper today will need to have their first draft peer-edited before moving on to the 2nd draft.
2) Read the Graham Greene story "A Shocking Accident" for tomorrow--it starts on p. 1190. Yes, 6th, you should have read it at the end of yesterday, but you might want to review it briefly before classtime tomorrow. There will be a reading check quiz on this story first thing on Friday.
3) If you've done turnitin.com in the past (and if you've been at IHS the past couple of years, I know you have), you should be a pro at signing up. Try to do so at home, and get both the Self-Definition and the first draft of the essay submitted to the right folders.
